Remodeling Contractor in St. Charles County, MO

Our shop is in Cottleville, so St. Charles County is home. Most of our work is within twenty minutes of the office: subdivisions from the 1980s through the 2000s in O'Fallon, St. Peters and Wentzville getting their first real kitchen and basement remodels, and older homes in St. Charles getting staircases, structural openings and additions.

The county's housing has a pattern we know well: two-story and split-level homes with unfinished lower levels, builder-grade kitchens, carpeted stairs and decks from the original build that are due for replacement. That is the work this company was built on.

Permits. Permits in the unincorporated county go through St. Charles County Community Development; the incorporated cities (O'Fallon, St. Peters, St. Charles, Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, Weldon Spring) each run their own building division.

What customers say

What St. Charles County homeowners say

From our Google Business Profile and Facebook page, shown as written.

Sean and John came in and turned my abysmal bathroom into something amazing. Great service, professional, timely and excellent at communicating. They will be back to do many other projects for me.

Sean, from SC2 contracting just finished building my new deck. I couldn't be more pleased! Not only did Sean do a great job, but he made the project very pleasant by always communicating when he'd be at my house, if it was okay to work on weekends, and what was happening next. He clearly is a man of high integrity, taking pride in doing a good job and working hard every day to get the job done(even in the St Louis heat we had this summer).

I will definitely be in touch with him again to do other projects for me, and have no doubt I'll get the same wonderful results!!

Questions people ask

Which parts of St. Charles County do you serve?

All of it, with most of our work in Cottleville, St. Peters, O'Fallon, St. Charles, Wentzville, Dardenne Prairie, Lake St. Louis and Weldon Spring. Rural parts of the county are fine for larger projects.

Do permit rules differ between cities in the county?

Yes. Each incorporated city has its own building division, inspection schedule and fee table, and the unincorporated county has its own. We work in all of them and handle the paperwork.

Do you do whole-house remodels?

Yes, when the house and the budget call for it. Most of our St. Charles County work is one or two rooms at a time; a whole-house plan is quoted in phases so you can see the order and the cost of each.

Do you work in the unincorporated parts of the county?

Yes. Augusta, Defiance, New Melle and the rural west side are all within reach for larger projects such as additions, decks and basement finishes; permits there go through the county.

Is there a minimum job size?

Not a formal one. In the core of the county we take staircases and single-room projects happily; the further out, the more the job needs to fill a day.

Can you handle a project that needs an engineer?

Yes. Load-bearing wall removal, large openings and additions often need an engineer's stamp; we coordinate it and include it in the quote.
