Why we don't do our own electrical
Because the inspector doesn't grade on effort. Electrical is a licensed trade with its own code book, its own permits and its own inspections. We are carpenters. First Choice Electric are electricians. Each of us does the part we are licensed for, on one schedule, and you deal with one person: Sean.
What they handle on our projects
Sized and permitted by them, scheduled by us. Read about each on their site:
Our services that include electrical
On the quote form, say whether the job needs electrical and we bring them to the walkthrough.
Kitchen Remodeling
The electrical on our kitchens is done by First Choice Electric, a licensed electrical contractor, on the same schedule as our crew.
Basement Finishing
A finished basement usually needs new circuits and sometimes a panel upgrade. First Choice Electric sizes and runs them.
Additions & Custom Builds
Additions almost always mean a service or panel upgrade. First Choice Electric handles the electrical from the service calculation to the final inspection.
One quote, both trades
Tell Sean about the project. If it needs electrical, First Choice Electric is on the walkthrough and in the quote.
