Kitchens built around how you actually cook
A kitchen remodel is the one project that touches every trade in the house. We design it in-house, open the walls ourselves, and bring in our electrical partner for the circuits, lighting and appliance power so nothing waits on a subcontractor who has never seen the job.
What's included
- Layout changes, wall removal and structural beams
- Custom and semi-custom cabinetry, islands and bars
- Quartz, granite and butcher-block counters
- Tile backsplash and flooring
- Under-cabinet, recessed and pendant lighting
- Dedicated appliance circuits and panel capacity checks
- Sink, dishwasher and ice-maker moves, plumbed by a licensed plumber
- Permits and inspections handled for you
The electrical on our kitchens is done by First Choice Electric, a licensed electrical contractor, on the same schedule as our crew. About our electrical partner.

Permits and inspections
A kitchen that moves plumbing, electrical or a wall needs a building permit plus electrical and plumbing inspections. We coordinate the permits with the city or county and the licensed trades, and schedule each inspection.
St. Charles County's incorporated cities each run their own building division; unincorporated areas go through the county. We know all of them.

Straight answers, the same ones we give on the walkthrough.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in St. Charles County?
It depends on whether walls move, the cabinet grade, the counter material and the electrical scope. We quote in writing after a free walkthrough, so you see what each choice costs before you commit. We do not publish prices because every kitchen is different.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Most full kitchens run four to eight weeks on site once materials are in hand. Cabinet lead times are the usual variable, so we order before demolition.
Can I keep using part of the kitchen?
Usually. We set up a temporary sink and keep the refrigerator reachable whenever the layout allows.
Can you remove the wall between the kitchen and family room?
In most 1980s to 2000s homes, yes. If the wall is load-bearing we install a beam, sized by an engineer when required, and it is part of the quote.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. We pull the permits and schedule every inspection.
Who does the electrical?
First Choice Electric, our licensed electrical partner, on our schedule. We coordinate kitchen circuits, lighting and any panel work with them.
Do you do the design?
Yes, in-house. We draw the layout, elevations and lighting plan and review them with you before anything is ordered.
Stock, semi-custom or custom cabinets?
We install all three. Semi-custom covers most kitchens well; custom is for unusual layouts or a specific look. We show you the difference in the quote.
Will you work with cabinets or counters I buy myself?
Yes, as long as they arrive before demolition and we can inspect them. We tell you up front what is and is not covered under our workmanship.
What customers say
What customers say about our kitchens work
From our Google Business Profile and Facebook page, shown as written.
Sean and John came in and turned my abysmal bathroom into something amazing. Great service, professional, timely and excellent at communicating. They will be back to do many other projects for me.
Sean, from SC2 contracting just finished building my new deck. I couldn't be more pleased! Not only did Sean do a great job, but he made the project very pleasant by always communicating when he'd be at my house, if it was okay to work on weekends, and what was happening next. He clearly is a man of high integrity, taking pride in doing a good job and working hard every day to get the job done(even in the St Louis heat we had this summer).
I will definitely be in touch with him again to do other projects for me, and have no doubt I'll get the same wonderful results!!
Very professional to work with and outstanding quality.
